NorthShore Resources has a contract opening for a Project Manager in Minneapolis, MN. 
 
An experienced Project Manager is needed for projects that are part of the Secondary Data Center expansion and Disaster Recovery initiatives. 
 
This position is responsible for all aspects of the delivery of complex projects within a program and is expected to communicate and manage relationships across IT and operations stakeholders.  This position reports to the client’s IT PMO Manager and works closely with other project managers, IT resource managers and business stakeholders.
 
The Project Manager is responsible for all aspects of the delivery of complex, large projects within a program and is expected to apply appropriate project best practices to ensure on-time, on-budget implementations. 
 
Key responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage to a detailed level project plan
  • Plan staffing and request resources as appropriate
  • Maintain issues log and work through Program escalation process
  • Identify risks and recommend risk mitigation processes
  • Identify and escalate scope issues within Program process
  • Collaborate with peers and other stakeholders
  • Communicate effectively at all levels of the program
  • Ensure delivery of project documentation
  • Compliance with requirements, standards and processes established by the client’s Project Management Office

  • Communications
  • Proven project management professional, with 8-10 years project management experience and 10+ years’ work experience.
  • Experience leading and managing implementations in a complex environment.
  • Healthcare industry experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team-building among IT, operations and clinical stakeholders.
  • Experience coordinating work and schedules with other projects within a program and with clients teams (Operations and IT) outside the program.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Demonstrated decision-making and delegation abilities.
  • Effectively establishes and maintains working relationships at all levels.
  • Flexibility and diplomacy.
