Quality Analyst Consultant

NorthShore Resources has a contract opportunity in Minneapolis, MN for a Quality Analyst Consultant in to work with our client’s existing QA staff in their Enterprise Development Division.
 
Responsibilities
  • Write, maintain, and execute test scripts, cases, and plans for unit, system, and regression testing
  • Troubleshoot and resolve testing issues
  • Translate business requirements into testing requirements
  • Review functional and technical specifications to develop test plans and test cases; review and recommend manual testing processes
  • Establish and maintain documentation of test results
  • Maintain defect tracking system to ensure all critical issues are resolved at completion of project
 
Required Skills
  • One or more years of IT quality assurance experience, including managing the QA process on projects
  • Proficiency in writing test plans, creating test cases, test data, user documentation, test scripts, and managing/tracking defect logs
  • Experience performing quality assurance for applications developed in a SharePoint environment.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office products including Excel
  • Experience with manual QA processes.  Experience with Team Foundation Services (TFS) a plus
  • Effective analytical, organizational, and time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to work effectively both individually and within in a collaborative team environment
