Our client in the Twin Cities is looking for an experienced contract Technical Writer for their SOC2 Audits!

This resource will assist in gathering audit documentation requirements and fulfilling those requirements by 1.) Creating new documentation, or 2.) Modifying existing documentation. Additional Standard Operation Procedures will be completed to augment the workload. Our processes for support have been changing with the implementation of automation tools and the need for documentation of standards is increasing. The following deliverables would be included in the statement of work
  • Gather requirements for SOC2 Audits on documentation of processes and procedures. Determine the gap in documentation (if any) that client may have. Identify the location where the required documentation will be stored (Confluence, SharePoint, etc.). Work with leadership and server teams to determine priority and estimated work effort.
  • Create any necessary documentation for SOC2 audit servers as prioritized.
  • Work to be completed in addition to Audit documentation as time permits within the agreed upon number of hours:
    • Onboarding documentation
    • Process workflow documentation
    • Standard Operating Procedures
Required Qualifications: The candidate will have experience in documenting technical procedures; knowledge of server and security processes; and reviewing audit requirements. Excellent skills with MS Word, Visio and SharePoint.

Preferred Qualifications: Familiarization with SOC2 audits in a healthcare setting. Some knowledge of automation tools such as Chef, Ansible, Jenkins. Some knowledge of security tools such as Powerbroker.
