NorthShore Resources has a contract opportunity for a Database Developer in St. Paul, MN!
 
Project Deliverables
  • Revising, updating, and repairing CTR error reports. 
  • Analyzing the CTR code to document existing functionality and streamline ongoing system maintenance. 
  • Documenting CTR coding and design changes that have been made to date, including those for ICD10, in the county’s MS Team Foundation Server environment.
  • Updating ICD-10 or other mandated code or functionality changes.
  • Assisting with process mapping of a long-term support strategy.
  • Working on special projects as assigned, including break fixes and system integration documentation. 
  • Providing CTR maintenance as needed.
  • Other: Providing status updates of progress to plan and participating in project meetings.
  • Follow industry expectations in the use of MS Team Foundation Server; entering all source code, work items, and all other software artifacts and documentation produced by the developer into the client’s MS Team Foundation Server environment routinely, as changes are made, throughout the term of the project.
 
Required Skills
  • Experience implementing International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems (ICD-10) code.
  • Experience and knowledge of the Health Insurance Portability & Accountability Act (HIPAA) EDI standards.
  • Combined experience developing line-of-business applications using Microsoft VB.NET and SQL Server 2008 R2 data stores.
  • Combined experience writing technical documentation in MS Team Foundation Server and writing user maintenance documentation.
  • Experience working with Human Services healthcare claiming systems.
  • Experience developing line-of business applications utilizing Microsoft BizTalk Server 2010 middleware.
 
Desired Skills
  • Development experience in a County Human Services government setting.
  • Knowledge and experience with State Social Services Information System (SSIS).
 
Project Requirements
This is a custom BizTalk Server 2010/ VB.NET/ SQL Server 2008 R2 application.
  • Any system modifications will be built to the client’s Information Services technical standards.
  • All developed code is expected to comply with the client’s best practices, and is subject to code review as appropriate.
  • The developer will work directly with client’s Health and Wellness Administration’s Office of Management Analysis (OMA) and its stakeholders to provide CTR modifications, reporting, code verification, testing and defects resolution, and workflow analysis, documentation and other tasks as assigned.
