Front End Developer

Richfield, MN
NorthShore Resources is working with our client on a direct hire opportunity for a Front-End Developer. This position is responsible for creating technology-based solutions by developing, implementing, and maintaining the front end (client side) of web applications.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field.
  • 2 years experience in front end web development including HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Angular
  • Experience in cross-browser compatibility in IE, Firefox, Safari, Chrome
  • Knowledge of development processes for common IE problems
  • Ability to work proactively with minimal supervision
  • Ability to leverage team knowledge
  • Available for on-call 24/7 support rotation on a periodic basis.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Thinks outside of the box
  • Collaborator whose is willing volunteer help and learn from others
  • Experience with Adobe, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willing to provide an exceptional customer service experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 6 years experience in front end web/mobile development including HTML, CSS, Sass, JavaScript and Angular2
  • Experience with Spring boot and Java
  • Browser experience integrating Google APIs
  • Experience with search engine optimization techniques tools like Lighthouse and popular social networking APIs
  • Health care market knowledge and experience in the health care industry.
Accountabilities:
  • Creates technology solutions by developing, implementing, and maintaining Front End code for website and mobile applications
    • Defines project objectives by analyzing user requirements, envisioning system features and functionality.
    • Designs and develops basic user interfaces to Front end applications by analyzing business requirements and priorities and translating them into an effective user experience. Contributes to the overall look and feel of the website through clean, efficient use of web standards
    • Works with back-end developers in integrating design and functionality.
    • Comfortable developing production ready interface designs for both website and mobile applications
    • Designs and conducts application tests.
  • Completes applications development.
    • Coordinates requirements, schedules and activities that contribute to the application development lifecycle.
    • Contributes to team/customer meetings
    • Troubleshoots development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms.
  • Maintains awareness of the latest developments in key areas of responsibility and brings forward opportunities that might benefit the organization.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
